Mutant Fruit

The fruit here is HUGE. Gi-normous! Definitely aesthetic a-peal. (couldn't resist)

Apples the Size of Your Head

OK, the apples aren't THAT big, because I know several of you have heads the size of Sputnik. However, they are mighty big. Just compare the size of the apples to the size of the CD and Swiss army knife in the photo. You can't cut these suckers all the way through with a normal pocket knife. Even Rambo has to cut them half way through and then cut the other side.

..even though they are technically not as big as your head, they are as big as Michael Jackson's head. And the heads used for Michael Jackson's skull abacus. Yes. Zoom in.

too fun. That CD cover is kinda scary. :) Is it the Thriller cover? TMM

Yes, the CD is strange. I'll told Bill already. I'm curious if anyone else can figure it out.. BY THE WAY, comments option: Instead of "Blogger" or "Anonymous," I'll click "Other" and enter my name, no web page, just to see how it looks..

Thanks for the advice on the "other." I'll try it. So, which CD is it? And where is everybody? I don't get to read anyones fun comments as much anymore. TMM

Ok, I admit pure, unadulterated bafflement. I've just spent the last 15 minutes looking at the album covers of every single Michael Jackson-related item on Amazon. Nothing comes close to the creepy skull cover in your picture. Hmmmm. By the way, did you ever really stop and look at all the material Michael has out there? I was blown away. There are such finds as Michael Jackson X-Posed - The Interview and The London Symphony Orchestra Plays Michael Jackson . . . but of course you're going to be paying a bit more for that one because it's an import. I also stumbled upon this gem, circa 1984: Voyage of the Rock Aliens: The Original Soundtrack. It doesn't feature Michael, but does have a song by his dear brother Jermaine. Who incidentally, I recently learned thanks to a heart-stopping episode of "Awesomely Wacky Celebrity Baby Names", named his son JERMAJESTY?!?!? What a world, what a world . . .

p.s. Does it make me a loser that I not only watched Awesomely Wacky Celebrity Baby Names, but also admitted to it in public?

Don't mind me. I had such fun with the Other/Name option that I want to see how the Your Web Page thing works. Will I get hyperlinked?? Will my old Guate blog proceed to get bombarded with renegade spam comments? Are you beginning to think of me as a spammer now after posting three pointless commentss in a row?? It's Tara's fault for saying more of us needed to comment. Made me feel guilty, she did! Well feel free to delete this one when you see it, I'm just playing around and will know the results momentarily!

No, I like getting 8+ comments. And I only wrote 2 of them. Bridget you can write as much as you like. :)

Amen Lance! You keep 'em coming Bridget. Always nice to get another glimpse into that head of yours. :)
Does anyone else have their Christmas tree up? (I'm not talking to you here, Lance or dad) We put it up a few days ago and I think we're like the last ones here to do it. Down South we put them up right after Thanksgiving. Can I get someone to confirm this? But please know that no matter who says we're crazy, I'll always put it up this early, because I LOVE IT!!!! Our house is all lit up too. :)

Bridget, you ROCK, girl!
I love it!
How did you get "Jermajesty" in bold?
Tara, our tree goes up Saturday 3 Dec, but we notice in neighborhood windows -- and from family reports -- that many have their tree up already! Seems the older I get, the earlier I want to put up the tree! In a coupla years..., it'll go up Thanksgiving Day afternoon!
I think I did read that Tito, the law-school Jackson brother, named his child, "Jerhonor." ...or did I imagine it...? Beekeroo And WHAT are all these naughty words we have to type to post our comments...?

Beekeroo, brace yourself because you're about to be introduced to the Wonderful World of HTML 101. You won't believe how easy it is to put things in bold or italics. All you have to do is type right in front of the word you want bolded, then right after the word. If you want italics instead, just replace the two b's with i's. So say you wanted to bold the word taco. Typing taco will show up just like this: taco. Easy as french silk pie with a chicken taco on the side!

Fear not, Sister Tara Notanun, you are not alone: My tree's been up for over a week, too. Although this year I mysteriously ended up with two full strings of lights leftover after I finished decorating, so I must've skimped a little (a lot!) without realizing it. Oh well, better luck next year?

And Lance, buddy, pal – you’re holding out on us! Haven’t we waited long enough? We deserve – nay, NEED! – to know the origins of the Jackson skull abacus!!

Ok, so the doofy HTML tags didn't cooperate. I thought I'd figured out how to actually display the tags in the comment without them actually executing. Worked beautifully in the Preview, but once I actually Published it made a liar out of me. Let me try literally spelling it out for you: Right before the word you want to bold you have to type three characters: The less than symbol, the letter "b", and the greater than symbol. Them immediately after the word you want bolded, you have to type four characters: Less than, forward slash, the letter "b", greater than. So it would look something like this, only you'd take out all of the extra spaces: < b > taco < / b > Make any sense? Humor me and try to bold something one of these days, even if the words you bold are That Bridget is such a geek!
