I don't know if I'm feeling lucky or unlucky. How many people can say that they've survived a plane crash? How many people are glad to have their flight canceled?
Let's stand in line
The tip of our plane's wing collided with the tail section of a nearby plane's tail section. The damage caused our flight to be cancelled, so we all sat in line before information trickled down to us about our options. The bulk of us are staying in a hotel tonight and flying out tomorrow morning. *phew*

I wanted to see what it looks like on this new page when someone posts. Looks the same. TMM
hey man..you are one lucky guy..your airplane wings were filled to the brim with fuel for your long flight. Needless to say, I am glad things worked out as well as they did.
Hey, good point. Could easily have been much worse! *ewww* Goose-bumps.
For those curious, an update: Word brewing amongst the passengers on the next day's flight was that with a thunderstorm blowing by at the time, wind had blown the tail of our plane to the side, distrupting our steering, causing us to drift into the other plane. At the time of the collision, it felt like the plane started rolling over rough pavement. The only damage was the winglet, the little part that bends up at the end, to increase fuel efficiency. However--the airlines was having a maintenence staff strike at the time... so.. we flew on a different plane the next day.
